Ribbons

Look at all my ribbons.

Before you get too jealous I’ll tell you about it. I have 100s of about 8 cm of all kinds of different ribbons. My step mother wanted to import ribbons wholesale and start selling ribbons on the Internet and got many samples. It didn’t go that way and I got all the samples. I’m thinking of using them when making cards and when sewing. I was thinking of doing a scrap project where I would sew one ribbon to each scrap. Not a good idea - and I didn’t start it. Since there is only one of each (there are some duplicats but not many) I use them for decorations on small sewn items.

I get so many visitors. I am so excited, I had never thought anybody would notice I was back. Please leave a comment, it would really make my day - and if you have a good idea for using my small ribbons I think I would clap my hands and jump up and down.

I enjoyed your blog very much. I am a great-grandmother and only do a little quilting but I enjoy seeing all of it. I just happened on your site while browsing “Norwegian Quilting”. Years ago in the mid-1940’s I had A penpal in Oslo and always think I will run across her. I love that you are encouraging your daughters in crafting projects…best wishes, Marilou
