A quilt finished!
I finally finished my third “real” quilt just hours before the batism. It was a gift to a daughter of some friends of ours at her batism. (Edited- The pattern is taken from the book “Stack a new Deck” by Karla Alexander.)

While quilting I tried some of my new finds at the quiltshow:
The Lickity Grip - yes, it works wonder. It really does give me better grip and better control of the quilt without leaving any residue.
The John James Easy Threading - I would never have finished setting those loose ends without these needles. I don’t really know how to explain it, but the have an opening at the top - so you push the thread(s) down on the needle - no threading!! It has a “barb” (mothake) to prevent the thread from falling out - which it doesn’t. I bought two packs of these, and will be buying more. I can already feel anxious about running out of them…

Beautiful quilt, I love the black and white fabrics. Did you use a pattern?

I have used a pattern, a stack and whack (or something like it) book. If I find it, I’ll let you know the title and author.
