Back in shape

It all started Friday evening, when after being sick, I really felt ready to get back to my sewing machine. Of course I wanted to sew something from a left over sweater of mine for Emily. I cut out the pattern, cut the sweater apart and started to cut out the parts. Well, there really wasn’t enough fabric - even if I had cut the arms correctly…. But I do like the result, and I guess there has to be some interesting results along my learing curve.dress-full-size.jpg

I also bought this thingy to make .. well, I don’t know what they are called and I neither know what to use them for. However, they are fun to make while watching James Bond. Do you have any good ideas as to what I should use it for?

It’s easter and both my kids are gone. My oldest went to my father on Friday, and today I took my youngest to my mom. They’re only staying a couple of days - or so I hope. I was in for a real treat - I got a a new scarf and some new socks. The scarf is made by yarn that is already preknitted and it’s about 1 - 1,5 inches wide. The color is really gorgeous.

Den overdelen ble knalltøff. Flott gjort.

    Hilsen Grete

The new-thingy you bought can be known as a spool knitter and you can use it to make hats, scarves, animals, bags and many other things. Be as creative as you like!

I found this which might give you a few ideas:
