So what does this have to do with quilting you might think.. but it has a serious impact on my sewing. It is very hard to check out the new tv if I´m in another room sewing. So, I had to finish crocheting a string bag, start and finish another and then start on the turkish slippers. The show we´ve been watching is “Heroes”, and we have lot´s left to watch. This will give me time to perfect the pattern for the turkish slippers - so they´ll fit my feet and my crocheting… I never could JUST watch tv.. However, I did manage to repair last week´s disaster tote. I took it apart and sewed a new exterior. I was very hesitant to use the blue fabric, but I think it worked nice once I´d put some ribbon on.
