Last wednesday I invited three friends to come over and make totes or other bags. I wanted to get them into sewing and reduce my stash. Hilde made a really nice bag with a crocheted front - all without a pattern for the bag. She used the last of my demin fabric!! Mette said she was not very familiar with sewing, but managed to make - not one - but two totes during the evening. She brought her own very nice fabric. Britt and I were lucky enough to get fabric enough from her to make the tote in black and white - she also brought the fabric for the limegreen tote - no stash reducing there. But she did cut some fabric for a tote of some of my other pink fabrics - which she sewed the next day….. And Britt made two socks for a new born, but promised to bring the sewing machine next time. There is definitly going to be a next time! Between making tea, finding pins and needles and teaching the art of cutting fabric I made a tote in a golden fabric. Here are some pictures:
