A visit, birthday, a birthday gift and books….
So much has happened in the last couple of days. I don’t have any pictures of things my daughters or I have made because they’ll be given away as christmas gifts….
On Sunday my father got his birthday gift, he was 60 in November. As a traditional dad his wishlist is difficult - “good children, good grand kids, peace on earth…”. We gave him a trip with a small plane which took him over his home. He loved it!!! Jenny and Tormod went with him as my dad’s dear Sally didn’t feel like flying in such a small plane….
Monday we had 15 crazy 6-year old girls running around our apartement. My oldest daughter Jenny is 6 on christmas eve, and we had a fun birthday party for her. Sally made two cakes - one chocolate and one cream - ahh… pink cream decorated with heartcandy and other girlie candy….
Tuesday Berit from Italy was here with her little boy Emil. He is so cute - and I had forgotten what it was like when they were a hazard to their environment and themselves…; )
And now BOOKS:
A big box from www.amazon.com:
Creative Quilting: the journal quilt project by Karey Patterson Bresenhan (ed.)
All about machine arts - decorative tehchniques from A to Z from C & T Publishing
Quilts by Denyse Schmidt
Stack a new deck by Karla Alexander
I can’t wait for a quiet moment when I can truly relish these books…

Rigtig god ide med en flyvetur i gave til din far. Mange gange er oplevelser de bedste gaver.
Min pakke fra dig ligger på posthuset og venter. Havde desværre ikke tid til at hente den i dag.
Hav en rigtig dejlig jul.
