A quilt for Jenny: easier said than done…
I had a lot of 5*5 inch fabric in lots of pink, green and blue and wanted to make a quilt for Jenny in those colors. I chose a pattern where you sew four triangles to make a square with to light and two dark colors together - however I’m not good at telling the value of the fabric so I’ve been taking a lot of black and white pictures of the fabric to determine the value. However I’m no at a loss as the value of the remaining fabric seems to be pretty much the same. (I have already sewn a quarter of the squares together as I miscalculat the number of squares needed). I’d better get back to cutting and matching fabric to make squares….
