My best friend’s little boy was being baptised, and I couldn’t go!! Of course I had to make a quilt for him - and I’ve wanted to make something with stars for a really long time. This was a fairly ease quilt to make. I struggled a bit with the colors. I usually order fat quarters on the Internet and try to make do with those for the main part of the quilt. As always I had to supplement with fabric from quilt shops. I also had great help from a quilt shop in choosing the right “frame”, binding and backing. The help is invaluable as it really helps the quilt find it’s personality. I’ve finally met the little boy - he is a real charmer and I did my best to spoil him….
